FiguraAzione

The show was born as a result of the collaboration between SILENCE teatro and the artistic group Way Art Studio, which is responsible for the realization of many life sized statues done in plaster cast, portraying situation from our daily lives. The objective of “FiguraAzione” is to combine the sculptural realization with a theatrical event.

The performance of the show takes place in the city appointed for the sculpture, after its installation, in order that these statues can begin to trigger a process of communication, provoking a series of emotions and reactions from passers-by.

In the companionship of verses of “Lavorare stanca” (“Work tires”) of Cesare Pavese, the actors of SILENCE teatro propose a trip which takes us to the roots of our experiences. A theatrical journey which includes odors, noise, images, the unexpected, memories, dreams and whispers, all those simple but valuable moments of life, those arts, our occupations and daily fatigue in which we recognize our historic environmental heritage, but ahove all our human heritage, which are withdrawn by an attentive and passionate glauce and with a state of mind constantly wavering between reality and a dream state, leaving it up to the subjectivity and sensitivity of each spectator to interpret its meaning.

We relieve our infancy on a journey through our memory, where rocks and places we’ve been in our infancy are transformed, coming alive and speaking to us about our present or our future. Listening to the street, we hear our intimate thoughts, our dailyactinities generate our dreams.
